At Noah's Ark Zoo Farm we are passionate about including and involving our local community. As a large visitor attraction in Wraxall, Bristol, we aim to support our community by providing a great family day out as well as celebrating our region.

Special Community Events

This year (2019) we are celebrating our 20th year of becoming a visitor attraction and to celebrate our family zoo we will be opening on Sundays for the first time. Our Summer Sundays are aimed at celebrating our families and aim to provide an extra opportunity for families to spend a day together. We would like to put on extra entertainment for families on these days and also invite our local community to take part.

We are hoping to get lots of community groups involved in our Summer Sundays and are looking for groups to join us for one of our Summer Sundays to perform and promote these community groups to our visitors. The performances could be inside our Ark arena or if you prefer outdoor performances this could be something we could arrange.

If this is something you would like to get involved with we would love to hear from you. Please email or call us on 01275 866908 if you have a community group who would like to take part.

Christmas Nativities and Performances

Every Christmas we like to put on traditional Christmas Nativities in our Ark Arena, complete with real life animals. We would love to hear from you if you would like to put on a Nativity here, whether you are a girl guiding group, church or community group.

Donations to local charities

Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm receives an overwhelming number of donation requests each month from a great number of worthy causes; therefore we have to carefully monitor the number of free entry tickets that are issued to organisations for fundraising events. As a major visitor attraction situated near Bristol, we want to support our local community as much as possible. As a result tickets will be prioritised to either registered charities or to schools and community groups in the BS, BA, NP, GL, TA and CF postcodes.

Due to the rising postal charges and the huge demand for donations, we ask if you could please send a brief covering letter together with a stamped addressed envelope headed 'Donation Requests'. Unfortunately, we will not be able to send any donations without a stamped addressed envelope.

Only one set of tickets will be allocated to successful organisations in any twelve month period. All applications will be considered using the above criteria by the last Friday of every month. Successful requests will be sent back by post at the beginning of each month.
