What’s happening?

African lions, tigers, Arctic foxes and vultures, in several phases of development.

We have three African lions already, and plan to rescue a tiger through AAP, an internationally respected animal rescue charity based in the Netherlands and Spain.

Project Carnivora is being designed to provide natural and spacious habitats for predators to foster their physical and mental wellbeing and encourage natural behaviours. It’ll also offer incredible, up-close, accessible, viewing and educational opportunities for visitors.

Project Carnivora will take place in phases. Phase 1, the extension and enhancement of the lion environment is currently underway, with the new habitat due to open next spring.

Phase 2 will focus on the development of our new tiger territory, which we plan to open in summer 2025.

Future phases will include works on new areas for Artic foxes and hooded vultures, as well as a whole series of works to further enhance the visitor experience.
