Are there undercover areas for schools to eat?

We have large indoor and outdoor picnic areas. We have a number of marquees around the zoo that can be used for lunch.

Noah's Ark Zoo Farm is easily accessible by car or coach and offers generous parking. We are 6 miles from the centre of Bristol and a short distance from the M5. Please see the 'Plan Your Visit' tab on the homepage for more information.

To ensure that it is an affordable day out for educational visits, the entry cost is £8 per child (under the age of 16). The entry cost is £11 per student (16+ years). The cost of admission entitles your group to a whole day at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm.

Payment is made at the Ticket Office by cheque or card on arrival. Alternatively, we can invoice you after the visit. Invoices are created on the day of the trip and are emailed out to the paying party.

Yes. We offer one free teacher ticket for every six paying students that attend. If you require any further teacher tickets, the cost is the same as for the student.

Yes. We ask that staff members ensure children are supervised at all times during the visit. If the group is slightly older, we still ask that staff are present around the site to manage pupil behaviour as they visit the animal enclosures, play on the playgrounds and enjoy their picnic.

There is free parking for coaches and 800 cars on site. On fine days, it is recommended that your coach parks at the top of the first car park and the group walks down to the zoo past the deer enclosures. On very wet days, the coaches may drive down through the car park and deposit passengers near the Ticket Office and return to the coach park.

Yes. You can arrange a free teacher preview visit for teaching staff. If you wish to bring additional visitors, tickets must be booked online.

You will need to enter the zoo via the Ticket Office where you will be greeted by a member of our team. Payment for admission for your group will need to be made at this point; alternatively an invoice can be requested.

Our 'Learning Outside the Classroom' accredited Education Programme offers an extensive variety of teaching sessions. Workshops can be designed to suit all ages and abilities. Our Zoo School classroom immerses students in topics such as ‘African Adventure’, ‘Class of Classification’, and ‘Conservation’. This is a hands-on experience involving animal ambassadors, exciting activities and biological artefacts.

We also offer 'Walking Safaris' where students will explore part of the zoo with our Education Team.

The cost is £35 for a 30 minute classroom workshop, £45 for a 45 minute workshop and £60 for a 60 minute workshop.

The cost for a Walking Safari is £25 for a 30 minute session. 

This cost is in addition to the admission charge per student.

We can cater for up to 30 in our indoor classroom workshop sessions.

The maximum we can accommodate for a Walking Safari (outside session) is 15 students.

Yes, we have a lunchbox storage by the Ticket Office. Please note, this will be left open during the day and will not be manned. This area does not need to be pre-booked.
