We are on the lookout for a fun, friendly individual to join our team as a Catering Assistant.  If you enjoy working within a company that really understands and has a focus on the importance of people & planet, please read on.

What you could be doing:

• Providing a warm welcome and friendly efficient service to all our visitors.
• Taking visitors orders, operating the tills. and taking payments,
• Serving hot and cold food and drinks to our visitors.
• Taking and making up ice-cream orders.
• Supporting the Senior Management to respond to customer demand and flows across the site.
• Barista trained; as will be making a multitude of hot drinks in the food barn, catering kiosks and farm shop.
• Running food, doing pot-wash.
• Tidy and clean tables in customer areas in the food barn and all other catering out-lets and kiosks.
• Food Hygiene and Allergen compliance at all times.
• Happy to work within the zoo's gift shop and farm shop as required (both form part of the Catering & Retail team).

The successful candidate will be:

• Friendly, enthusiastic and reliable.
• Positive, with a can-do attitude with a desire to greet and engage with our visitors.
• Confident in working under pressure.
• Interested in good, healthy and delicious food and drink.
• Must be able to get to this rural location.

Working pattern:

Ideally looking for someone to work every Thursday, Friday. (Could have the opportunity to flex-up your days within our busier periods).

Hours of work (could be flexible): 10am – 3pm or 10.30am – 4.30pm.

Salary to be discussed at interview, subject to experience.
