Project Carnivora: Coming 2025

Experience the wild like never before

We are excited to announce a brand new project coming at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm that will champion the welfare and conservation of some of the most iconic and threatened carnivores, including African lions, tigers, Arctic foxes, and vultures.

Following the launch of our bold new vision and five-year strategy earlier in the year, we have commenced works on Project Carnivora. The multi-phased ambitious project will transform the existing lion pride’s habitat and create brand-new spaces to welcome threatened carnivore species.

But how are we going to do it?

Phase 1 - Currently Underway

Phase 1 focuses on modernising and extending our current lion habitat for Arusha, Kojo, and Tau. This habitat will create more room to roam and enjoy exciting new enrichment opportunities. Visitors will be able to experience new and immersive viewing areas, interactive learning opportunities and new experiences that reflect the pride’s own habitat.

Phase 2 - 2025

In this phase the spotlight will shift to tigers. We are working with the internationally renowned animal welfare charity AAP, Animal Advocacy and Protection. AAP help to save animals from poor conditions overseas, supporting their rehabilitation before finding new homes for these incredible creatures.

At Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm we are working to provide a forever home for a rescued tiger. The new tiger habitat, opening in summer 2025, will offer visitors the chance to connect with these majestic animals while supporting global rescue efforts.

Accessibility & Sustainability

As a charity, we are committed to combining exceptional animal care with accessible visitor experiences. Project Carnivora will encompass sensory led learning, tactile discovery and inspiring outdoor education. This ensures that everyone, from families to wildlife enthusiasts, can connect with the wonders of the natural world.

Our dedication to sustainability also shines throughout this project, with eco-friendly building methods, solar-powered energy, and rainwater recycling all part of the plans.

25 Years OF Noah's Ark Zoo Farm & Our Vision

Earlier in the year we celebrated our 25th anniversary by launching a new vision. Project Carnivora is the first of many projects working towards creating a An Ark For All: Wildlife, People & Planet.

Our Vision

How can you help?

Whilst the majority of the project is being funded by Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, we will be calling on your support to raise the final amount needed to build the new tiger habitat and provide a rescued tiger with a new lease of life in its forever home.
