Activities at Noah’s Ark: We’re More Than Just a Zoo!

Easter holidays mean lots of families looking for things to do and enjoy, making the most of your precious time off. Luckily for you, something’s always happening at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm! Along with up-close amazing animal encounters, we have a range of activities, events, attractions and services that will make your day trip a truly unique and memorable one.
Everyone knows how inquisitive young minds can be, so we’ve put our (somewhat older) brains together to come up with a range of activities to give you and your little ones an unforgettable experience. While there’s nothing like paying a visit to see our magical zoo animals, there’s also plenty going on in between saying “hello” to our giraffes, lions, rhinos, elephants and tigers. Noah’s Ark, we give you the opportunity to get hands-on with a wide variety of animals; and we’re not just talking about the chickens and ducks. You can also hand feed the goats, camels, deer, llamas, sheep and pigs just by buying a bag of animal food from our on-site shop.
Little ones in particular will love holding and stroking a soft rabbit, chick or guinea pig at the Animal Village and visiting the Animal Show Pens, where they can pet the horses, ponies, goats, sheep, cows and reindeer. Next up, don’t forget to keep a firm eye on both our daily and annual events. There are various shows and talks taking place throughout the day – from watching the meerkats be fed at the Meerkat den to taking in all the information at the elephant presentation in Elephant Eden. There’s also a range of events throughout the year to keep you and the kids happy. This weekend, for example, we are hosting an Easter Chocolate Trail on Saturday April 4th, where you can hunt for a chocolaty and sweet surprise, as well as taking part in the novelty games (such as an egg and spoon race!) and craft making.
You may be interested to know that we offer education programs and school trips to complement the work your children are doing at school. Your little ones will have so much fun, they might not even realise they’re learning! It’s worth mentioning to their teacher when they return to school. Do you know a child who doesn’t like an adventure playground? We don’t! This is why we have created a huge range of outdoor and heated indoor play areas for kids of all age groups to enjoy, whatever the weather. From drop slides to trampolines, sandpits to twisty mazes, your children will love the fact they can combine a trip to the zoo with letting off steam at our various play areas.
All this running around is thirsty (and hungry!) work. Luckily, we have just the solution: our on-site café, which serves high-quality lunches, as well as delicious ice creams, and hot or cold drinks. We also have two kiosks serving drinks and snacks for on-the-go refreshment. So, what are you waiting for?
