Want to get a little closer to nature’s giants but too scared to go it alone? We’ve got the perfect solution! This month, we’re super-excited to announce our brand new Elephant Keeper Experience for Two! We’ve been offering the Elephant Keeper Experience for a while now and it continues to be very popular. But now, for the first time, we’re able to offer the chance for you and a friend or loved one to participate in this unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience at the same time – and double your fun! For £300, the two of you will be able to enjoy all the benefits of the Elephant Keeper Experience package, as well as the Elephant Playzone and the chance to better understand what it’s really like to spend a day in the life of Janu and M’changa as they frolic in the Elephant Eden enclosure. And they certainly make sure our keepers are kept busy, so our staff are always happy to welcome two extra pairs of hands to help out with the morning routine! Not only will you get to watch the keepers doing their thing to keep Janu and M’changa in tip-top condition, but you’ll also be able to get stuck-in with some of the essential care our elephants need to undergo every day.
One of your tasks will be to help prepare the morning breakfast for the elephants and hide snacks for them outside in their field. As honourary keepers, you’ll both get behind-the-scenes access to these magnificent creatures that no other visitor gets – you’ll be as close to them as our experienced keepers are. It can be pretty hard work looking after such large animals – that’s why the Elephant Keeper Experience is for adults only – but it’s sure to be an experience that you and your companion will never forget. After taking care of the elephants and helping to hide treats and enrichments around the enclosure, the package allows you to spend the rest of the day watching Janu and M’changa appreciate all your hard work. You’re also free to roam around the rest of the park. Take a ride down the new giant elephant slide situated in our Elephant Playzone, or spend some time cooing over the newest arrivals here at Noah’s Ark; some of our winter babies like lambs, piglets and capybara are braving the outside, so maybe you should too!
