Have A Cracking Easter at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm!
26th Mar 2015
Easter is just around the corner, so it’s time to get planning if you want to make the long weekend a memorable one. The Easter holidays are made for kids – so treat them to a cracking time at Noah’s Ark and they certainly won’t be disappointed. There’s plenty going on here to keep you, and them, happy – so here’s a brief rundown of some of our most exciting events. Firstly, Easter wouldn’t be Easter without an egg hunt, so – for the second year running – we are holding our CCS Adoption’s Easter Egg Hunt on Wednesday 1st April. We are delighted to be hosting the hunt in conjunction with this Bristol-based charity which helps bring families together. Kids will love the thrill of the hunt, especially winning the chocolate treat at the end of it!
And our chocolaty fun doesn’t end there; on Saturday 4th April, we’re hosting our Noah’s Chocolate Trail, where kids will hunt through the Easter trail before getting their hands on a chocolate and sweet surprise! You and your little ones can get involved in all the novelty games and crafty activities we have on offer, and you’ll get to take home your fun Easter creations. Don’t forget to look out for our adorable new born Easter chicks, bunnies and lambs – they will have you cooing and ‘awwing’ and are perfect for getting you into the Easter spirit. And make sure you brighten up your day by coming to say hello to our macaws and amazons in our recently opened parrot aviary! As well as our exciting annual events, we will also be holding our usual daily talks and shows across the zoo – so keep an eye on our timetable so you know where to be and when. From our all-day tractor rides outside the Animal Village – great for the little ones – to fascinating talks about elephants (at Elephant Eden) and giraffes (at the Giraffe House), you and your kids can have fun whilst learning at the same time!
The weather seems to be improving, so if you feel like a refreshment, it’s worth remembering that our fabulous café serves a host of healthy lunches and snacks, as well as ice creams (perfect if the sun is out!) and hot and cold drinks. There are also kiosks dotted over Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm serving refreshments at the Watering Hole (by the Big Cats) and in the Arkiventures indoor play area.
It is also worth noting that parking at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is completely free of charge when visiting us, so you can park all day knowing that you won’t have to spend a penny on parking fees! Don’t forget, we are open Monday to Saturday, and this includes Good Friday and Bank Holiday Monday! The zoo is closed on Sundays, so we will be shut on Easter Sunday.
Plan your Easter trip to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm today and your kids will have a guaranteed fun-filled day of Easter Egg Hunts, Amazing Animals and playing. See you soon!
