Everybody loves a discount, so for that reason we’re offering a massive 20% discount on Day Ticket admissions throughout December and January. So if you’re struggling to find the motive to get out into the crisp air, take advantage of this fantastic offer for an affordable and enjoyable family day out. Our prices have been reduced for Adult, Child, Family and Concession tickets all the way through to 31st January 2016. You can buy tickets either at the ticket office or online – all you need to do is print them off and head on in.

Membership renewal offer Along with our special winter discount on Day Tickets, we’re also offering a new deal for membership renewals. Renew before 24th December to secure last year’s prices. A number of visitors also like to purchase membership for a loved one as a thoughtful Christmas gift that lasts all year long. Some of the benefits include: money-off vouchers for friends and family, discounted Keeper Experiences and free entry to Jungle Tots. For large education groups we’re offering a seasonal discount of 25% for group visits including a taught workshop between now and 12th February. We are ‘Quality Assured’ by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom and offer a professional national curriculum-based education program for KS1-4 and those in higher education. Seasonal opening times

Due to the shorter days, we alter our opening times in the winter. We’re still open Monday to Saturday, but from 10:30am to 4:00pm, so you can get home before dark and our animals can snuggle up in their cosy beds and get out of the cold, just like our guests. Despite losing an hour at the end of the day we still offer all our usual perks, so you can still expect to attend daily animal talks and shows, as well as take advantage of our heated indoor play and eating areas.

We highly recommend visiting our heated indoor viewing galleries in the big animal houses to escape the cold. Over the Christmas period, the zoo park will be closed from Sunday 20th December and will reopen on Saturday 9th January.

Nativity activities But before the park closes we’re really filling our calendar with fun events. Always popular during December, here at Noah’s Ark we’re continuing to host Nativity plays throughout December featuring real animals and baby Jesus. And this year we’ve created our best set yet, with a rustic stable, manager and backdrops. Come and join the fun on the 12th and 19th December for two different interpretations of the traditional Christmas story, with sing-a-long carols to get festive with. HRH Royal Visit Finally, we’d like to make a royal fanfare for our royal visitor, HRH The Princess Royal who will be officially opening the Elephant Eden on Thursday 17th December. The zoo will be open as normal and visitors are welcome to come and watch part of this special moment in Noah’s Ark history.
